Yogo Sent into the Woods
Level 4
: 150/300, 25 ante
The current ANZ Player of the Year leader Iori Yogo has just been eliminated. All his chips went to Tim Woods. It started with Woods opening the hijack to 500. Yogo made the call from the button and Team PokerStars Pro Bryan Huang called out of the big blind.
The flop saw Huang check and Woods lead for 600. Yogo raised it up to 2,000 and Huang quickly folded. Back on Woods and he would raise to 6,000. Yogo then quickly move all in for around 12,000. Woods snapped it off and tabled his for the nuts. Yogo held just for two-pair. The turn and the river weren’t what Yogo were looking for and just like that he was sent home.
Woods is now easily the chip leader over Day 1c’s shrinking field.
