Yogo Check-Raising the Jack-High

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

[Removed:480] opened the button to 25,000 and Iori Yogo called out of the big blind. On the {3-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop, Yogo checked and Divkovic bet 27,000. At this point Yogo check-raised to 100,000 and Divkovic called.

The {j-Diamonds} turn would see Yogo slow down and check-call a bet of 85,000, while the {10-Spades} river would see both players check. At showdown, Yogo's {j-Hearts}{5-Spades} went into the muck, with Divkovic's {k-Spades}{9-Spades} strong enough to win the hand.

Dejan and Yogo Rumble

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

[Removed:480] and Iori Yogo have just rumbled in a big hand. It started with Divkovic opening to 25,000 from under the gun, which Yogo called out of the small blind. Philip Gidley-King also called, out of the big blind, and the dealer turned over a {5-Spades}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop. The play was checked to Divkovic and he bet 24,000. Both opponents called and an {a-Clubs} was slapped on the turn.

This time when the action was checked to Divkovic, he would bet 80,000 and Gidley-King would fold, while Yogo made the call.

The {k-Diamonds} river would see another check to Divkovic, who splashed out a bet of 150,000. Yogo made the call and Divkovic tabled {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for trip kings. Yogo turned over his {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} - with his trip kings having Divkovic out-kicked. With that, Yogo scooped up the pot.

Dejan Dominating Dale

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

[Removed:480] now has a huge chip lead. The latest massive hand that went Divkovic's way began when Divkovic opened to 24,000 from the button. Dale Marsland was in the small blind and three-bet to 57,000. Divkovic then four-bet to 102,000 and Marsland called.

Both players checked the {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Spades} flop and a {10-Hearts} was dealt on the turn. Marsland led for 103,000 and Divkovic called. The river was a {3-Clubs} and Marsland led again, this time for 177,000. Divkovic took his time and looked like he was about to fold, but instead he sighed and made it 515,000 to go.

Marsland went into the tank, eventually calling and immediately mucking when Divkovic tabled {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} for the nut-straight.

With that Divkovic has almost three quarters of the chips in play, while Marsland is the short stack.

Dale Gains Some off Dejan

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

[Removed:480] was in the small blind when he raised it up to 30,000. Dale Marsland obliged with a call from the big blind and the dealer flipped over a {7-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop. Divkovic led for 32,000 and Marsland called. On the {10-Spades} turn, Divkovic again led, this time for 77,000. Marsland called and then both players checked the {8-Hearts} river.

At showdown, Marsland's {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a pair of kings was good enough to trump Divkovic's {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a pair of eights.

Yogo Takes Some off Dale

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Dale Marsland was in the small blind when he opened it up to 27,000. Iori Yogo called out of the big blind and the dealer flipped over a {4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{q-Hearts} flop.

Marsland led for 29,000 here and Yogo called. The dealer then turned over a {9-Clubs} on the turn and Marsland again led, this time for 57,000. Yogo decided now was the time to raise it up to 150,000 and Marsland instantly folded.

David Evans Eliminated in 5th Place ($27,300)

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

[Removed:480] opened up the play with a raise to 20,000 and Dale Marsland promptly three-bet to 52,000. Onto David Evans on Marsland's direct left and he would move all in for 138,000. Divkovic got out of the way and Marsland made the call.

Marsland: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Evans: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

It was a race preflop, but it was annihilation for Marlsand when a {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop hit the felt. Evans needed to catch some cards, but with a {5-Diamonds} on the turn and the {7-Diamonds} on the river changing nothing, Evans had been sent home in 5th place to collect $27,300.

Marsland Flops the World, Apocalypse Hits Turn and River

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Dale Marsland was in the cut-off season when he opened it up with a raise. Philip Gidley-King was in the big blind and moved all in for an extra 169,000. Marsland thought long and hard, before making the call.

Gidley-King tabled his {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and was looking very good to double up against Marsland's {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. However, a devastating (for Gidley-King, great for Marsland) {2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop meant that Marsland had flopped a flush and it was looking like Gidley-King was going home.

The {q-Spades} turn gave Gidley-King some hope and that hope turned to celebration when a {q-Diamonds} river completed the board to give Gidley-King the full house and enough to double up.
