Raybon Kan Eliminated in 11th Place (NZ$7,455)

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The short-stacked Raybon Kan has been sent to the rail as we have now reached the final ten here in the ANZPT Auckland Main Event.

Kan was all in preflop with {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} against David Lim’s {a-Spades}{j-Spades}, but the drama was short-lived when Lim flopped the stone-cold nuts on the {4-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Spades} flop. Kan’s only hope was a perfect runner-runner straight-flush to chop – not exactly a great hope.

It was all over when the {6-Hearts} hit the turn and the meaningless river was the {q-Hearts}. Kan was out in 11th place for NZ$7,455 as we’ll now play round-for-round on the two tables for the final table bubble.
