Levy Moving on Up
Daniel Levy has just seen his stack rise again as he solidifies his place near the top of the chip leader board. In order for Levy to get there, he had to eliminate a player.
The hand started with an open to 800 from the hijack, before the eventual eliminated player three-bet to 2,100 from the cutoff. On Levy in the big blind and he would four-bet to 5,100 after having a look at the cut-off player’s stack. The opener quickly got out of the way and the cutoff went deep into the tank before moving all in for around 29,000.
“I’m worried that was the sickest Hollywood ever,” quipped Levy as he thought about what to do next. “If it was, you deserve an Oscar.”
“Alright I call,” Levy said as he turned over .
The player tabled and quickly got out of his seat.
“Don’t leave yet, lots of queens in the deck,” Levy said.
Althought one of those queens would come on the board, Levy had hit a king and with that he scooped up the massive pot.
