Speidel's Bluff Fails
A player in early position raised to 400 and the 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event champion called from the cutoff. The player in the big blind called as well creating three-way action.
The flop brought out and the action was checked to Speidel. He fired out a 500-chip bet and only the big blind called.
On the turn the hit and the big blind checked again. Speidel put together a bet of 1,175 and threw it onto the felt. The big blind gave it some thought before eventually making the call.
The river brought the and put four clubs on the board. The big blind checked again, and Speidel tanked for a bit before betting 1,600. His opponent counted out a raise and made it 4,400. Immediately Speidel let go of his hand giving up a sizable portion of his stack. He's down to around 11,500 right now.
