Lunardi Loots Benton's Chips

A big hand has just played out over on Table 5 and we were there to catch all the action. It started when Billy Argyros opened to 2,500 from under the gun. Lunardi called on his direct left and Benton did the same a couple of spaces over.

When the dealer spread out a {9-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop, Argyros checked and Lunardi led for 3,600. Benton then raised it up to 8,000 and Argyros quickly got out of the way. Lunardi called here and the dealer turned over a {6-Clubs} on the turn. Lunardi would check-call a bet of 10,500 here and the {j-Diamonds} would complete the board on the river.

This time Lunardi took his time before leading for 13,500. Benton then went deep into the tank, mumbling to himself as he decided what to do. Eventually he gave a shrug, and a sigh, and made the call. When Lunardi tabled his {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, Benton's {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} would fall to the might of Lunardi's larger full house.
