Huge Double For Wakeman

Folded to James Honeybone in the cutoff, he raised it up to 2,300. Matt Wakeman called out of the small blind, along with Craig Blight in the big blind and the dealer readied three cards for the felt.

Flop: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Wakeman and Blight both checked here and Honeybone bet 3,000. At this point Wakeman announced raise, flicking out 7,200. Blight quickly got out of the way and Honeybone made the call.

Turn: {9-Spades}

Wakeman bet 11,300 here, which was the majority of his stack. At this point, Honeybone immediately slid out his stack of 5,000-denomination chips, having Wakeman covered. Wakeman made a quick call and the two players flipped over their hands.

When Honeybone saw Wakeman's {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, for a turned straight and a big flopped flush draw, Honeybone let out a sigh of frustration as he tabled his {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

The {k-Spades} on the river gave Honeybone a set, but it changed nothing and Wakeman raked in the big pot, leaving Honeybone crippled.
