Allan Stays On Top

The two largest stacks in the room, David Allan and David Wonson, have just rumbled in a hand over on their table. Allan came off as the victor in the hand, with the action playing out like so.

Allan was under the gun when he opened up the pot with a small raise. Wonson called a couple of spot to his left and it was on to the small blind player, who also made the call.

The small blind and Allan would check the {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop and Wonson would bet 1,500. Only Allan called and the dealer would flip over a {q-Clubs} on theAllan again check-called here, this time when Wonson bet 2,000.

A {j-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, leaving four cards to a straight on felt. Allan casually flicked out 20,000 worth of chips - far more than was in the pot. Wonson didn't take long to fold and Allan raked in the pot to yet again move his stack up the chip leader board.
