Action has concluded in Day 2 of the $215 Mystery Bounty Main Event here at the PokerNews Online Championship hosted by 888poker, after just four hours of play. Of the 194 runners who started the day, only eight players will return for Day 3 on Tuesday to play out the final table.

The player who sits atop the counts heading into Day 3 is “muchbetter07” of Brazil, with an impressive 3,752,108. They won a sizable pot on the last hand of the night where they woke up with pocket kings on the button and sent “1zvolite” to the rail on the stone bubble of the final table.

Not far behind is Finland’s “gifu15” sitting with 3,618,624. They won a significant pot late in the day when they cracked the pocket queens of “the_belgian”, eliminating them in 10th place. Rounding out the top three is “Ogame22” of Mexico with 1,960,647, who also rose to the top as play was close to concluding. They knocked out "pactamah23" in 11th, by spiking a much needed ten on the flop.

Given that the mystery bounties were in play at the start of Day 2, it didn’t take long at all for the money bubble to burst, with 144 places paid. PokerNews ambassador and streamer Lukas "RobinPoker." Robinson made an early exit and was sent to the rail in 130th place, securing a min-cash of $375.

The top three bounties were claimed during the first hour of play of Day 2, with "KaizenStyle" of Brazil fortunate enough to find the biggest bounty worth $30,000. Canada's "Illraise8" earned one of the two $12,000 bounties and "Tremolo38" of Malta claimed the other one.

Each of the remaining players have locked up $2,910, in addition to any bounties they collected during Day 2. The final eight competitors will be battling it out for the rest of the bounties, along with the first place prize of $23,200.

The final table will take place November 26 at 2 p.m. ET, where play will continue until a winner is crowned. Blinds resume in Level 38 at 30,000/60,000 with a 7,500 ante and will increase every 12-minutes.
