Banfield, Astedt Headline Final Table of 888poker's Mystery Bounty Main Event
A massive field of 1,734 players started the 888poker.com $500,000 KO Games Mystery Bounty Main Event, and only nine remain when the final table begins at 7 p.m. GMT on Tuesday.
Leading the way is the United Kingdom’s “UndeadCretin,” who takes a stack of 3,065,158 into the final table and is in the best position to turn the $250 buy-in into the $36,525 top prize. Romania’s "_UpToNoG00D_” is in second place with 2,724,700, while Max “DragoDanzig” Rotko of Finland is in third place with 2,606,990.
888poker Stream Team member Jordan “BanfieldJ” Banfield takes a stack of 2,187,240 into what he calls the “biggest FT" of his career and will stream the action for his nearly 12,000 Twitch followers. At the bottom of the chip counts with 676,129, but not to be counted out, is Niklas “tutten7” Astedt.
The Swedish online superstar already has more than $24 million in career online earnings and is a two-time online player of the year. He’ll look to add to his already legendary resume with a title on Tuesday, but he’ll have his work cut out as he begins the final table with less than 10 big blinds.
