On the third day of the 888poker XL Inferno Series, three new tournaments started. The XL Inferno #6 - $50,000 Crazy 8 kicked off at 20:00 GMT. After late registration closed, there were 438 registered players. With a total of 153 rebuys, that made for a total of 591 entries, resulting in a small overlay with a prize pool of $50,000 with $9,500 reserved for the winner. More than ten hours were played before a champion was crowned.
Eight players made the final table, securing themselves of $1,000. "FuzzyWigg" (eighth, $1,000), "Frandog1985" (seventh, $1,250), "N0tori0us_B" (sixth, $1,750), "1POKERHERO" (fifth, $2,500) were eliminated in quick succession. There was also a Mini edition of the Crazy 8 on the schedule for the players who couldn't afford the biggest buy-in ($88) of the day. To compete in this tournament, players had to pay the buy-in of $8.80 and there were 1,923 players competing for a prize pool of $15,384. Every finalist in this tournament would secure him- or herself of $154 but all eyes were on the top prize of $2,770.
That top prize went to Belarus' "buldos" after beating "PhoenixRuffy" from Austria in heads-up. The Austrian runner-up received $2,000.

Another winner was crowned in the XL Inferno #8 - $15,000 Late Crazy 8. This event was played by 342 players to create a prize pool of $15,000. Ukraine's "psyhoagromor" almost won their second title of the week, after winning the $100,000 Opening Event on Thursday. In this event, the Ukrainian finished in second place for $2,175. Russia's "Kaktus26rus" won this event for $2,925. That was a small bad beat for the Ukrainian, as big prizes await players that win multiple events this series.
