Rubbathan Hero-Calls Delahunty to the Rail
Level 11
: Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Darren Delahunty raised to 3,500 in the cutoff and was called by Timothy Slater on the button and big blind Mark Rubbathan.
Rubbathan led out for 4,000 on the 5♠2♥4♠ flop and only Delahunty called. Rubbathan checked the 9♣ turn and Delahunty bet 7,200.
Rubbathan called and the 6♥ fell on the river. He checked again and Delahunty moved all in for 27,000. Rubbathan spent more than a minute in the tank before calling.
"Good call," Delahunty said as he tossed K♠10♠ into the muck. Rubbathan showed A♠5♣ for a pair of fives to win the pot and send Delahunty to the rail.
