Benardout Gets Value
Level 5
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Ramlal Basdeo opened to 1,300 from under the gun and was called by Brendan Evans in the cutoff. Neil Benardout came along in the small blind, as did Brandon Harris in the big blind.
All four players checked the 6♠2♠5♣ flop, with Benardout leading out for 4,000 on the 3♣ turn. Harris and Evans called, while Basdeo got out of the way.
Benardout fired again for 8,500 after the 8♠ river, with Harris tossing in a single calling chip. Evans checked his cards again and folded.
"Flush," said Benardout as he revealed K♠10♠. Harris could only muck and count out the call as Benardout took down a sizeable pot.
