Davenport then checked over to Liperis, who fired out an additional 17,000. Davenport called to see the 10♣ river.
Liperis then slid forward his entire stack and Davenport snap-called. Liperis showed 9♥8♥ for the turned straight and Davenport angrily threw his cards into the middle of the table.
Davenport got up to leave, but a count of the chips showed he had Liperis' 90,000 covered by about 10,000.
