Luiz Costa Eliminated in 10th Place ($14,300 BRL)

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Luiz Costa
Luiz Costa

Luis Lima opened with a raise. Action folded to Luiz Costa on the button and he moved all in for a little over 900,000. Next to act was Emanuel Fernandez and he moved all in over that for just a bit less. Action was back to Lima and he called both all ins.

Lima: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Fernandez: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Costa: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{K-Spades}{A-Hearts} and that gave Fernandez the main pot with two pair, while Lima took down the side pot with his pair of queens.

The final nine players are now on a 45-minute dinner break and will return shortly.

Lima Finds A Way

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

After a raise from Emanuel Fernandez on the button, Luis Lima moved all in and Fernandez called.

Fernandez: {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Lima: {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}

The board came {7-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and that gave Lima a winning full house to double up while Fernandez was left as one of the shortest stacks.

Costa Doubles Through Alencar

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Patricia Alencar opened with a raise on the button to 125,000. From the small blind Luiz Costa moved all in for 585,000 total. Alencar tanked for a while before calling the shove.

Alencar: {A-Spades}{9-Spades}
Costa: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Alencar was behind and she fell into an even deeper hole when the flop came {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. The turn was the {4-Clubs} leaving her drawing dead and the river was the {10-Spades} for a bit of overkill. Costa doubled up back to over 1 million while Alencar dropped for what seems like the first time today.

Osvaldo Ruben Irrazabal Eliminated in 12th Place ($12,500 BRL)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Osvaldo Ruben Irrazabal
Osvaldo Ruben Irrazabal

From early position, Osvaldo Ruben Irrazabal opened with a raise to 125,000 action folded around to Mauro Tabarin who was on the cutoff and he called the raise.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Irrazabal checked then called a bet of 155,000 from Tabarin.

On the {J-Hearts} turn, Irrazabal checked again. Tabarin put out a bet. Quickly Irrazabal moved all in, and even quicker, Tabarin called. Irrazabal confidently turned up his {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} but it was no good as Tabarin had turned better with {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}.

The river was the {5-Clubs} and that would do it for Irrazabal who was eliminated from the tournament in 12th place.

Emanuel Fernandez shoved all in on the button for roughly 400,000. Luis Lima was in the big blind and after giving it some thought he called.

Lima: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Fernandez: {K-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

The board ran out {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and the six on the river gave Fernandez an incredibly important pair to stay alive and double up.
