Day 43 of the 2024 WSOP, the final seven players from a 494-entry field will return to play down to a winner in Event #83: $1,500 Eight Game Mixed (6-Handed). Day 41 of the 2024 WSOP won’t see much $25K Fantasy movement as no bracelets will be awarded, but there is Day 2 of Event #82: $1,000 NLH Freezeout. That tournament began with 1,424 players but only 214 runners return on Sunday including $25K Fantasy players Chance Kornuth (Team Livingston), who sits third in chips, Wing Po Liu (Team Lady Gaga), David Peters (Team AJ’s Eagles), Shannon Shorr (Team Girls Dads), Stephen Song (Team DPMC), David “ODB” Baker (Team TheCoffeeBreakers), and Jeff Madsen (Team AJ’s Eagles).
In yesterday’s Day 1d flight of the Main Event, dozens of $25K Fantasy players bagged including Brian Hastings (Team Oz – 252,100 in chips), Aram Zobian (Team Wilson – 231,400), Ari Engel (Team The Coffeebreakers – 209,400), Anson Tsang (Team Lady Gaga – 205,900), and Adam Friedman (Team Sepiol – 177,400).
On the flip side, a handful of $25K Fantasy players fell on Day 1d including Robert Campbell (Team Oz), Matt Glantz (Team Lucky), Michael Rodrigues (Team DPMC), Joao Vieira (Team Noori), Justin Saliba (Team Livingston), Dylan Weisman (Team Baker), Jim Collopy (Team Girl Dads), David Williams (Team Negrenau), Sergio Aido (Team DPMC), Jeff Madsen (Team AJ’s Eagles), Sean Winter (Team DPMC), and Chance Kornuth (Team Livingston).
