2024 WSOP Day 19 $25K Fantasy Sweats – Hendrix & Couden Eye Gold; 4 Draftees Still in $10K Big O Championship

On Day 19 of the 2024 WSOP, Event #36: $800 8-Handed NLH DeepStack is down to the final nine players from a 4,278-entry field. Surprisingly, two of the remaining players are $25K Fantasy players in Adam Hendrix (Team Wilson) and Joey Couden (Team Baker). Both are on the shorter side of things but still primed to earn some big points.

In Event #37: $10,000 Big O Championship, the 332-entry field is down to 19 players including chip leader Calvin Anderson (Team Sepiol), Dylan Weisman (Team Baker), Anson Tsang (Team Lady Gaga), and Adam Friedman (Team Sepiol).

There are still dozens of players in Day 2 of Event #39: $50,000 High Roller NLH 8-Handed, including more $25K Fantasy players than we can list. Some of those with big stacks include James Chen (Team AJ’s Eagles), Artur Martirosian (Team Lang), Philip Sternheimer (Team Kalas), and Nacho Barbero (Team Negreanu).

On Day 18 of the 2024 WSOP, Event #34: $2,500 NLH Freezeout is down to the final 13 players with three $25K Fantasy players remaining – Patrick Leonard (Team Lucky), who sits second in chips, as well as Jeremy Ausmus (Team Noori) and the short-stacked Josh Reichard (Team Oz).

Similarly, 23 players return for Day 3 of Event #35: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. including Phillip Hui (Team Baker) and Yuri Dzivielevski (Team Lady Gaga).

2024 WSOP Day 17 $25K Fantasy Sweats – Will Ivey Win Bracelet #11 & Earn Big Points for Team Sepiol?

On Day 17 of the 2024 WSOP, three players will return for an impromptu Day 4 in Event #29: $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship (6-Handed), bracelet winner Danny Wong leads with 19 big bets, while a pair of $25K Fantasy players Jason Mercier (Team Lang) and Phil Ivey (Team Sepiol) sit with 15 and 11 big bets respectively. That final table will resume at 4 p.m. local time, and all eyes will no doubt be on Ivey to see if he can capture his 11th gold bracelet.

In Event #31: $3,000 6-Handed NLH started with 1,230 entries but only six players remain. That includes David Coleman (Team The Dinkers), who holds a sizeable chip lead. Coleman has already earned 44 points for the league-leading Team The Dinkers, and today he’s primed to add a bunch more.

Event #32: $1,500 Seven Card Stud it down to the final nine and a third of them are $25K Fantasy players including chip leader Mike Noori (Team Lucky), Hal Rotholz (Team Noori), and the short-stacked Aaron Kupin (Team Chingas). However, the final table is a stacked affair with five gold bracelets represented, so earning points won’t be easy.

The only $25K Fantasy player remaining in Event #33: $600 PLO DeepStack is Maxx Coleman (Team AJ’s Eagles), who is a big stack with roughly 100 players remaining.

For Day 2 Event #34: $2,500 NLH Freezeout, nearly 200 players remain including Kristen Foxen (Team NGNF), Josh Arieh (Team TheCoffeeBreakers), Josh Reichard (Team Oz), Jeremy Ausmus (Team Noori), and Erik Seidel (Team Lucky), among many others.

Similarly, around 200 players return for Day 2 of Event #35: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. including but not limited to Calvin Anderson (Team Sepiol), Yuri Dzivielevski (Team Lady Gaga), Shaun Deeb (Team Lady Gaga), Wing Po Liu (Team Lady Gaga), and Maksim Pisarenko (Team Baker).

2024 WSOP Day 16 $25K Fantasy Sweats – Half the $10K Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Field are $25K Players

On Day 16 of the 2024 WSOP, Event #28: $1,500 Freezeout NLH is down to the final 22 players from a 2,317-player field. None of the remaining players are $25K draftees though as John Riordan (40th place), Phil Hellmuth (62nd place), Mike Noori (139th place), and Texas Mike Moncek (143rd place) all busted on Day 2.

Just 13 players from a 149-entry field remain in Event #29: $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship (6-Handed), and seven of them are $25K Fantasy players. Jason Mercier (Team Lang) sits second in chips with 1,165,000 while Benny Glaser (Team Sternheimer), Philip Sternheimer (Team Kalas), Phil Ivey (Team Sepiol), and Justin Saliba (Team Livingston) sit third through sixth respectively. Allen Kessler (Team NGNF) and Renan Bruschi (Team Sternehimer) are also still alive.

Only 145 players from a 3,351-entry field return for Event #30: $600 Mixed NLH/PLO DeepStack including Matt Glantz (Team Lucky), Kevin Gerhart (Team Sepiol), Daniel Negreanu (Team DPMC), Joey Couden (Team Baker), Ryan Leng (Team Sepiol), Josh Reichard (Team Oz), Ben Yu (Team Baker), Alex Livingston (Team Lang), Nick Guagenti (Team Baker), and Phillip Hui (Team Baker).

At the end of May, 152 players were auctioned off into 19 teams of eight during the 25K Fantasy Draft for the 2024 World Series of Poker, held at the illustrious PokerGO Studio.

With a total prize pool of $475,000, the stakes are incredibly high for the participants. The payouts are structured to reward the top four teams substantially, with the first-place team taking home $225,000, followed by $125,000 for second place, $75,000 for third, and $50,000 for fourth.
