Five Big Hands from Episode #7 of the £1,050,000 Triton Million Charity Event

In 2019, 27 amateurs and 27 of the world’s best pros competed in the biggest buy-in event in history. Now, the Triton Million - A Helping Hand for Charity poker tournament is being released as a 10-episode series on Triton Poker's YouTube Channel.
A total of 54 players stumped up the seven-figure entry fee with £50,000 of each buy-in going to benefit 15 different charities. As a result, this saw £2.7 million going to a plethora of good causes as well as generating a staggering £54 million ($73,993,800) pound prize pool.
Here's a look at five of either the biggest or most interesting hands from the seventh episode, which can be viewed in full below.
Hand #1: Petrangelo Stands Firm
With the blinds at 25,000/50,000/50,000, Nick Petrangelo kicked things off, raising to 125,000 from a 2,000,000 starting stack on the button with the J♠10♠, and Justin Bonomo made the call from a 2,700,000 starting stack holding the [As3c[ in the big blind.
A flop of 10♥4♠3♥ joined the 325,000 in the middle. Bonomo checked, Petrangelo bet 90,000, Bonomo check-raised to 335,000, and Petrangelo called.
The 6♦ hit the turn, and Bonomo continued his aggression with a 600,000 bet, which Petrangelo called.
The 8♣ was the final card to fly out of the deck, and with 2,195,000 in the middle, Bonomo put Petrangelo to the test by moving all in. A tense and nervous call duly arrived, and Petrangelo was rewarded with a big chunk of chips.
Hand #2: A Gift for Rajkumar
Action was picked up with blinds still at 25,000/50,000/50,000, and Liang Yu had three-bet to 425,000 from the big blind holding the A♣K♣ off a stack of 1,900,000. Vivek Rajkumar, who had Yu covered, made the call from the cutoff with the 7♣7♦, and the over caller, Ferdinand Putra, folded.
Yu then check-called himself into extinction with only ace-high on a board of 8♠7♠4♣10♠Q♣, catapulting Rajkumar to the top of the chip counts.
Hand #3: Chidwick Clashing With Lim
The blinds were at 30,000/60,000/60,000 when one of the tournament chip leaders, Stephen Chidwick, raised to 125,000 from the hijack seat holding the K♦Q♠ and 6,400,000 chips. Chin Wei Lim found the 5♥5♣ in the big blind and called from a stack of 3,100,000.
The dealer fanned the 8♠4♠2♦ onto the flop, Lim checked, Chidwick continuation-bet 80,000. Lim check-raised to 260,000 and Chidwick three-bet to 600,000 to take down the pot without a showdown.
Hand #4: Badziakouski Out
The blinds were at 30,000/60,000/60,000 when Bonomo raised to 120,000 holding the 8♥7♥ in the hijack seat. Alfred DeCarolis called with the 10♥10♣ on the button and was the only caller after Mikita Badziakouski moved all in for 2,035,000 with the Q♦10♦ in the small blind.
DeCarolis had Badziakouski covered, and after the board ran out 10♠9♠4♥9♦6♥, the three-time Triton champion picked up his man bag and headed into the London night air.
Hand #5: The All-Time Money List Race Blows Wide Open
The blinds were 40,000/80,000/80,000 when Bonomo limped into the pot from the small blind holding the 8♠8♣. Igor Kurganov moved all in with the covering stack of 1,400,000 and the A♠Q♦ in the big blind. Bonomo called off and the hands were turned on their backs.
Kurganov took the lead on a flop of A♦J♦J♣, and it remained that way after the 6♦ turn and 10♦ completed the board.
Just like that, Bonomo left the tournament knowing that his grip on the All-Time Money spot was not as tight as it once was with Chidwick, Petrangelo, Bryn Kenney, and Dan Smith all capable of overtaking him.
