CardRunners instructor Will “HalcyonDays” Ma has been a favorite online player to rail for quite some time, having racked up numerous big tourney scores and more than $1 million in online profits in addition to his live successes.
Recently Ma took earned yet another big online score when he took down the Sunday Major on Full Tilt Poker in June, topping a field of 848 in the $215 buy-in event to earn $34,768. In a new video series Ma shares hands he played at the conclusion of that tournament, picking up the action with about 25 players left when he was among the chip leaders.
In this sequence of hands Ma is able to explore a variety of topics including preflop opening ranges, blind defense, and continuation betting as he battles against some skilled opponents. Take a look:
