CardRunners Training: Alex “Assassinato” Fitzgerald on How to Study Poker

Today CardRunners instructor and PokerNews contributor Alexander “Assassinato” Fitzgerald shares a preview of the first part of a multi-part classroom-style lesson “How to Study."

Fitzgerald begins with an overview of how most players study poker — if they study at all — including some of the less than effective, disorganized or unproductive methods often pursued. From there he begins to discuss some theories of learning and how they apply to the typical poker player’s experience — including why many ultimately don’t appreciate methods of study that do not involve simply gathering experience (i.e., playing more poker).
