PokerNews Pick #1: Chiefs -3
Last time these two teams, met, the Chiefs were in control throughout the game, holding a 17-point lead going into the fourth quarter. From there, they let their foot off the gas, going scoreless in the fourth, allowing the Bucs to score two touchdowns.
That result would end up in a push with this current spread but had the Chiefs continued to step on Tampa Bay’s throat, which they certainly will given the chance in on Sunday, they would have managed to cover with ease.
The Chiefs are fresh off of a 38-24 blowout of the Bills, and in that game their usual suspects came up with the goods. Patrick Mahomes threw for 325 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions, with the majority of those yards going to Tyreek Hill (172 yards) and Travis Kelce (118 yards).
On top of that, the Chiefs had the experience of playing in last year's Super Bowl. In that game, the Chiefs were down 10 points before the offense caught fire in the fourth, scoring 21 points to lead their team to their first Super Bowl in 50 years. Sure, the Buccaneers have Tom Brady, but for virtually everyone else on the roster, it will be their first time at the big dance. Take the Chiefs here on the short spread.

PokerNews Pick #2: Over 56.5
The over looks mighty temping in this spot, especially given the recent form of both teams. Games featuring Tampa Bay have gone over 50 points in six straight games, with the Bucs offense scoring at least 31 points in each of their contests in the same time frame. The Kansas City defense has been playing solidly as of late, so they might be able to slow Tampa down, but they should still be able to get to at least 24 points.
Combine the form Tampa’s offense with the unstoppable force that is Patrick Mahomes and this Kansas City offense, and it seems hard to find a scenario where this game goes under the 51 points they accrued last time they met. Patrick Mahomes had some injury concerns heading into the AFC Championship, but he cleared concussion protocol, and he didn’t look too bothered by his turf toe. Having to sweat the under here won’t be much fun, so put you money on the over.
PokerNews Pick #3: Travis Kelce (KC) anytime TD -175
If you would rather spend your free $1,000 OddsChecker bet on a player prop, we have a couple of other options for you. The first prop is for Kansas City Tight End Travis Kelce to score a touchdown at anytime. The prop has a decent amount of juice on it, -175, and that is for good reason. The star Tight End has scored a touchdown in six straight games, and has been one of the most targeted players in the entire NFL this season. Kelce destroyed Buffalo last week, hauling in 13 passes, including two touchdowns.
The Buccaneers defense ranked in the bottom half of the league against the Tight End, and also allowed nine touchdowns to that position in the regular season. Kelce failed to find the endzone against Tampa Bay in their regular-season matchup, which might give him that extra boost of motivation to cross the plane this time round. Bank on talent and opportunity here on this prop that is probably still under juiced given Kelce’s recent success in the redzone.

PokerNews Pick #4: Leonard Fournette (TB) Over 25.5 receiving yards
If you want to put your bet on a Buccaneer, we like the receiving prop for Running Back Leonard Fournette. The former first-round pick has established himself as the top dog in this backfield in the playoffs. More importantly, he seems to have earned Tom Brady’s trust in the passing game, getting seven and six targets in the last two games. He has hit the over in two of the three playoff games so far, logging combined yardage totals of 39 and 44.
At 25.5 yards, Fournette can easily get there on two or three screen passes, and he could also see a good amount of dump-offs if the Bucs have to play from behind. Take the over here.
