WSOP Main Event - The most famous Poker Tournament in the world is the WSOP Main Event. The first World Series took place in 1970 and featured no tournaments at all. A group of players gathered to play a selection of cash games including draw and seven card stud at Binion’s Horseshoe Casino, and after a week-and-a-half they voted Johnny Moss the “Best All Around Player” and awarded him a silver cup.

The Poker Players Championship - Behind the main event the most prestigious tournament at the WSOP is the Players Championship. With a $50k entry the mixed game event consists of 9 games and changed from being just a Horse event in 2009.

Daniel 'Jungleman' Cates went back to back in 2021/2022 and Brian Rast became a three time champion in 2023 taking home his third bracelet and $1.3m for his efforts.

WSOP Europe (WSOPE) - The World Series of Poker Europe was introduced in September 2007, the first WSOP championship events outside of Las Vegas, complete with bracelets. The main event, a £10,000 buy-in no-limit hold 'em tournament, was first won by Norwegian online prodigy Annette Obrestad on the day before her 19th birthday.

Over the last few years King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic has hosted the event and 15 bracelets will be up for grabs in 2023.

Mike Watson defeated Germany's Leonard Maue (€697,175) in a heads-up heads-up event that flattened the prize pool and left the two accomplished pros playing for the trophy and an additional €33,340.

EPT Barcelona - With its stunning architecture, vibrant nightlife, sandy beaches and world-class cuisine, the EPT Barcelona is not to be missed. This year it returns to the Casino de Barcelona from 21 August for one of the most popular and prestigious stops on the European Poker Tour.
Giuliano Bendinelli from Italy was the winner of a record breaking EPT Barcelona 2022, winning the Main Event and taking home a prize of €1,491,133.

EPT Paris – In 2023, the romantic city of Paris hosted an EPT for the first time, and no European Poker Tour (EPT) debut has ever made such a splash. The Paris festival was an instant success and overwhelmingly popular, with players and prize pools a huge success.

World Poker Tour - WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas

The first-ever WPT World Championship was held at Wynn Las Vegas begins on December 12th 2022. The $10,400 buy-in tournament boasted the largest-ever live poker tournament guarantee of $15,000,000 in a WPT Series.

WPT Everyone for One Drop – In 2023 the World Poker Tour and WPT Foundation joined forces with One Drop Foundation to provide a means for WPT and the poker community to support One Drop Foundation in working towards sustainable development goals. The beautiful Wynn Las Vegas was the host of a pair of high roller events, in which a portion of each entry fee will be donated directly to One Drop Foundation.

The EveryOne for One Drop, had a $10,500 buy-in with a massive field of 1,676 entries, creating a $16,257,200 prize pool. The title was captured by Bin Weng and he took home a prize of $2.2m after dominating a really tough field.

WPT Alpha8 for One Drop - The $111,000 buy-in High Roller also brought out some of the best players in the game! The six-figure featured event attracted 45 entrants and a prize pool of $4,612,500. After many hours the final table of six players eventually gave way to start of day chip leader Jonathan Jaffe who took down a career-high score of $1,537,600.
