Wing Po Liu is a Hong Kong poker player with two World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and over $1.1 million in live tournament cashes.
Liu's live tournament career began in September 2018 in Macau, with his first seven live scores stemming from Asian events. He cashed in five WSOP events in 2020 when the series moved online to GGPoker during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In April 2023, Liu won his first five-figure prize, the equivalent of $10,598, his reward for a tenth-place finish in the APT Super High Roller in Taipei City. Liu headed to the 2023 WSOP in Las Vegas, where he cashed eight times, including a third-place finish in the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed event for $241,767.
At the 2023 WSOP Europe festival, Liu won the €5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event for €230,000 ($246,797) and his first WSOP bracelet.
Liu raked in five five-figure scores as he prepared for the 2024 WSOP in Las Vegas. He finished in the money six times in the series before it proved to be seventh-time lucky. Liu won the $2,500 Mixed Big Bet event for $209,942 and bracelet number two.
