Dunst was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and attended the University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin before playing online poker in 2003 under the name Bond13. He has amassed over $4.1 million in live tournament earnings and over $1.8 million online.
Dunst joined the World Poker Tour in 2010 as a segment host and analyst on television broadcasts after he beat out hundreds of contestants in a nationwide search. He won the WPT Caribbean Main Event in St. Maarten in 2013 and replaced Mike Sexton as Vince Van Patten’s co-host in 2017 and has been in that role on broadcasts since.

Dunst won his first WSOP bracelet in 2016 in the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em event, where he outlasted a field of 2,452 players on his way to winning $339,254. Dunst’s second bracelet came in 2020 in the $777 6-Handed event during the WSOP 2020 Online series for $168,342. He won his third bracelet in a $500 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack online event at the 2024 WSOP, a win worth $134,886.
His largest cash came with a second-place run in the 2016 Aussie Millions, where Dunst took home $700,069 after falling to Ari Engel in heads-up play.
