Tom Fuchs is a German poker player living in Austria. Fuchs is best known for winning the $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller at the 2024 World Series of Poker Paradise (WSOPP), a result that earned him his first gold bracelet and $1,292,000.
Fuchs had a handful of live tournament cashes between 2011 and 2013 but then disappeared from the scene for several years. He started cashing in prestigious events during the WSOP Online at GGPoker in 2020 and 2021, and playing low-to-mid-stakes live events in 2021.
In July 2022, Fuchs was the runner-up in an $800 MonsterStack event at the Venetian Las Vegas for $44,494, a career-high at the time. Later that year, at the PokerStars EPT Prague festival in December, Fuchs banked €19,860 for a seventh-place finish in the €440 Eureka Cup.
Fuchs began frequenting higher stakes events in July 2024, finishing third in a $10,000 Aria High Roller for $85,400. Fuchs reeled in his first six figure score at the Triton Super High Roller Series in Monte Carlo in November 2024, finishing fifth in a $25,000 buy-in event for $284,000. Ten days later, Fuchs finished seventh in a $150,000 buy-in event for $762,000.
Full of confidence and rising the crest of a wave, Fuchs headed to the 2024 edition of the WSOP Paradise in The Bahamas. He finished 13th in the $100,000 Triton Main Event for $296,500, cashed in the $25,000 Super Main Event for $50,000 before coming out on top on the $50,000 High Roller event for his first gold WSOP bracelet and a new career-high prize of $1,292,000.
