Thibault Perissat is a French poker player hailing from Toulouse, best known for becoming a World Series of Poker bracelet winner at the 2024 WSOp in Las Vegas.
Perissat's first recorded live poker tournament cash, according to the Hendon Mob Database, was in February 2023. Over the next 15 months, Perissat cashed in nine Toulouse-based tournaments that had buy-ins of between €150 and €450.
A family member gifted Perissat some money as a 30th birthday present, telling him to use the cash to follow his dream of playing at the WSOP. It took Perissat two years to make the pilgrimage to Las Vegas, but it was worth it.
After busting inside the money places in Event #12: $1,500 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em, Perissat entered Event #14: $1,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em. The fast pace suited the Frenchman, and he emerged victoriously with the $197,308 top prize in tow, along with a coveted gold WSOP bracelet.
