Sami Bechahed is a French-American poker player and dealer, best known for winning the PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Main Event in 2023.
Bechahed, who works part-time as a dealer on Hustler Casino Live, defeated a 1,095-entry field to win $268,945 and the title of first NAPT champion in 12 years.
After winning the NAPT Main Event, Bechahed said he would keep his dealing job.
“I will never do poker full time, ever. I don’t need the stress of the downswings,” he told PokerNews. “I like to have my little [dealing] job, and it keeps me in poker. I’m always thinking poker, whether I’m at work or when I’m playing.”
One year before his NAPT victory, World Series of Poker Circuit Choctaw Main Event for $274,916.
