Joyce's first recorded live score was in September 2021 in a low-stakes event in London. A flurry of four-figure prizes came his way, including an £8,640 score, his reward for a deep run in the £2,200 UKIPT London High Roller in October 2022.
Joyce captured his first five-figure prize in the £3,300 NLHE WSOPC Super Circuit Main Event, his 31st place finish awarding £18,750 in August 2023. Three months later, Joyce bagged £11,950 for a sixth-place finish in the £2,200 UKIPT London High Roller at Dusk Till Dawn.
A trip to Cyrpus in October 2024 saw Joyce cash three times, including a 12th-place finish in the $5,300 PokerStars EPT Cyprus Main Event worth $60,900. A month later, Joyce finished second to Arian Kashani in the £1,100 PokerStars UKIPT Nottingham Main Event for £126,000.
