Lex Veldhuis is a Dutch poker player and PokerStars Ambassador.
A popular Twitch streamer, Veldhuis regularly broadcasts his play to thousands of viewers on his Twitch channel.
"I’ve been fortunate to have a few deep runs in COOP in the last few years, but my word, it feels like you’re in a stadium full of people," he told PokerNews in 2021.
"At a certain point, that’s kind of what it is as well. It’s just really crazy. You stream for those moments, you really do. In terms of poker results, you really want to have top-three finishes or win a tournament to have that insane absolution of the end. But in a stream, even if you’re in the last seven or eight and have an insane stream with 20-30,000 watching, it can already make you feel like you’ve won the Champions League!"
Veldhuis focuses his attention on online poker tournaments, mostly at PokerStars. Among his many online titles, Veldhuis has a Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP) and a World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) to his name. The Dutchman won the latter in 2024 while streaming in Ali G cosplay.
Although known for his online poker talents, Veldhuis has over $700,000 in live poker tournament earnings.
