Jen Shahade is an American poker player, chess player, commentator and author. She is a two-time United States Women's Champion and holds the FIDE title of Woman Grandmaster. She is also a PokerStars Mindsports Ambassador.
Shahade's first recorded live cash came at the 2007 World Series of Poker (WSOP0), where she cashed in the $1,000 Ladies Event. After enjoying her first five-figure score in mid-2013, Shahade burst onto the scene in 2014, cashing in the $10,300 PCA Main Event for a career-best $43,300 in January and then winning a €10,000 Open Face Chinese Pineapple event in Prague for a new career high of €100,000.
The chess star logged some impressive volume in 2015 and 2016, including cashing in the 2016 WSOP Main Event for $42,285. Shahade hit the tables with renewed vigor in 2022 but her time spent playing live poker events has since waned.
