Jeffrey Hakim

Biography

Jeffrey Hakim is an American poker player specializing in live poker tournaments. He has over $2.5 million in cashes, with results dating back to 2007. In 2024, Hakim became a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner for the first time.

Hakim didn't wait long for his first six-figure prize. In November 2008, he was the runner-up in the $5,000 World Poker Finals at Foxwoods Casino, earning him $103,732. Eleven months later, Hakim finished second in a €1,800 buy-in event at WPT Marrakech for another €54,785 ($80,731).

Hakim became familiar in Europe-based live events and at the WSOP in Las Vegas, racking up dozens of cashes and final table appearances along the way. At the 2016 WSOP, Hakim finished 22nd in the $10,000 Main Event for $269,430, a new career-high.

He enjoyed another $100,000+ score at the 2019 WSOP, finishing fourth in the $600 No-Limit Hold'em Deep Stack Championship for $135,783.

After a quiet 2024, where Hakim had only recorded a solitary in-the-money finish, he came out on top of the $2,500 Mini Main Event at the 2024 WSOP Paradise stop, earning a new career-best prize of $575,000 and his first gold WSOP bracelet.
