Jay Farber Background

Jay Farber, originally from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, went to UC Santa Barbara to study business. After moving to Vegas in the hopes of becoming a professional poker player, he ended up working as a nightclub promoter instead.

"It's funny, I kind of fell out with poker," he told PokerNews in 2013 as he waited to play in the final nine of the WSOP Main Event.

Despite his WSOP success, Farber still describes himself as a retired poker player in his X bio.

Jay Farber's net worth is necessarily an estimate as his tax returns are not public. However, with a degree in business, we can assume that his net worth has not significantly decreased after his WSOP success.

That is probably a sensible starting estimate for Jay Farber's net worth.
