Karlic has in-the-money finishes dating back to July 2011. His first recorded score was a runner-up finish in a €1,100 NLHE German Championship of Poker in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, worth €33,339.
Karlic's first six-figure haul came in September 2013, when he won a €1,100 No-Limit Hold'em side event at the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona festival for €110,000. Another came two years later, again at EPT Barcelona. On that occasion, Karlic finished seventh in the €10,300 NLHE High Roller for €155,600, a new career-high.
That score remained Karlic's best until he collected €230,000 for winning the €2,700 partypoker MILLIONS Germany Warm-Up event in February 2018. Several more five-figure prizes came Karlic's way before he finished as the runner-up in the €1,100 Eureka Main Event at EPT Prague in December 2024, and he walked away with €327,390.
