Kassela at the WSOP

In 2005, Kassela recorded his first WSOP cash and indeed his first WSOP final table, finishing fourth in a $2,500 Pot Limit Hold'em event.

A regular at tournaments across Las Vegas, Kassela recorded numerous cashes across the city before the 2010 World Series of Poker.

In 2010, he cashed six times, made three final tables and won two bracelets. He also cashed for over $1.2 million.

His first bracelet came in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo 8 Championship for $447,446. He defeated Allen Kessler heads-up. Less than a month later, Kassela had his hands on his second bracelet, winning Event #40: $2,500 Seven-Card Razz after defeating a final table featuring Jennifer Harman, Chris Bjorin and Vladimir Schemelev.

In 2015, Kassela recorded a final table finish at the 2014 WSOP APAC Main Event. He finished fifth.

Kassela picked up his third bracelet in 2017, winning Event #13: $1,500 No Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw for $89,151.

He narrowly missed out on another bracelet in 2018, finishing second to Calvin Anderson in Event #56: $10,000 Razz - Championship.
