Eric Wasserson

Biography

Eric Wasserson is an American poker player from Narbeth, Pennsylvania, best known for winning the $25,000 Dealer's Choice Championship at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise in 2024. One of Wasserson's first recorded live cashes was in a $1,000 no-limit hold 'em event at the 2010 WSOP. Fourteen years later, he finally won a bracelet.

It may have taken Wasserson a long time to strike WSOP gold, but he came agonizingly close to becoming a bracelet winner several times. He finished second in the 2014 edition of the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout and in the 2022 edition of the $10,000 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Championship.

He also finished third-place in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship in 2016 and the 2017 $10,000 Tag Team Championship. Throw into the mix a fourth, two fifths, two sevenths, and two eighths, and you can see that Wasserson certainly knows his way around a tournament table during the WSOP.
