Following video footage apparently showing him conspiring with some members of the media during the Partouche Poker Tour, Tekintamgac was disqualified from the tournament after reaching the final. He is also reported to have been banned from a casino in the Czech Republic for pocketing tournament chips and reintroducing them in higher buy-in tournaments.
He was recently banned from Holland Casino, also for suspected cheating.
