Sean Jazayeri is an American poker player from California, best known for winning the 2012 WPT L.A. Poker Classic Main Event and becoming a World Series of Poker (WSOP) winner at the 2024 WSOP in Las Vegas.
According to the Hendon Mob Database, Jazayeri's first recorded live cash came in June 2009 in a $1,080 No-Limit Hold'em tournament at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Five months later, Jazayeri helped himself to his first five-five score, collecting $14,710 for a runner-up finish in a $550 buy-in event part of the Deep Stack Extravaganza IV at the Venetian.
In February 2012, Jazayeri won the $10,000 WPT L.A. Poker Classic in Los Angeles for an incredible $1,370,240 and his first live poker major. Many deep runs in WSOP Circuit events followed, including a 12th place finish in the $1,700 WSOPC Bicycle Casino Main Event in 2021.
At the 2024 WSOP, Jazayeri came out on top in Event #59: $1,000 Super Seniors No-Limit Hold'em, defeating Turkey's Yucel Eminoglu in a thrilling heads-up encounter. For his victory, Jazayeri won $368,025 and his first gold WSOP bracelet.
