GGPoker

Last month, GGPoker announced that it would be the sponsor for the returning United Kingdom Poker Championships (UKPC). The event takes place in January 2023 at the premier British poker room, Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) and is headlined by a huge £500,000 guaranteed Main Event.

Day 1 flights for the UKPC can be played on both GGPoker and at DTD. The online flights run from January 7 while live starting flights kick off on January 11.

The buy-in for the tournament is £560, however the folks at GGPoker are letting their players book their seat to the UKPC for a fraction of the price. Read on to find out how you can get to the UKPC for just $1!

Overlays Galore in Daily Dollar Qualifiers

When online poker sites announce players can qualify for a specific event for pennies, players often have to navigate multiple tournaments just to reach the final qualifier. Well, that is not the case for the Daily Dollar satellites to the UKPC.

The Daily Dollar qualifier run every night of the week at 8 p.m. GMT, excluding Sundays. In these satellites, one seat to the UKPC is guaranteed.

From personal experience, these are some of the favourite satellite events that I've played. The structure is really friendly and allows plenty of play. They're not run as a hyper-turbo, where you left with just a handful of big blinds after a few levels. Another great thing about the Daily Dollars is that they always seem to have a generous overlay, usually to the tune of more than $300 on most nights.

GGPoker will be sending 60 qualifiers through this route, so you've plenty of chances to bag that ticket.

All GGPoker UKPC Main Event qualifiers will take part in their preferred online Day 1 on the platform on either Saturday, January 7 or Thursday, January 12. The top 20% of the field will then go on to play the live Day 2 at DTD. Players can also buy directly into the UKPC Main Event Day 1s hosted at GGPoker.

All you need to do is make the final table and you've guaranteed your place at the UKPC.

Players also have the option of qualifying for the $80 satellite by snagging a ticket from the $10 'Step to' satellite.
