A typical bomb-pot sees each player commit up to five times the big blind pre-flop. So in a $1/$2 game, each player would commit $10 and action would then start to the left of the button, on the player who would have been the small blind.

Often, players would agree to a "round of bomb pots" to ensure that everyone has the button at least once in this new dynamic.
