partypoker POWERFEST

The flagship poker tournament series of partypoker is known as POWERFEST and this latest series, the 10th edition, has a cool $28 million guaranteed to be won.

POWERFEST X kicked off on July 28 and has already seen 91 champions crowned and almost $9.5 million awarded across those 91 events. Do not worry if you have missed out on the POWERFEST action so far because it runs all the way to Aug. 11 and there are still 184 events scheduled, with more than $20 million still to play for.

There is a POWERFEST event for everyone regardless of the size of their bankroll. This is because partypoker has devised a schedule where the tournaments start at an affordable $5.50 and increase all the way to $25,500. Throw into the mix a plethora of satellites starting at a mere $0.55, plus POWERFEST SPINS, and you have the chance to play in a big buy-in event even if your bankroll would not allow it.

Win Tickets Via POWERFEST SPINS

SPINS are partypoker’s take on jackpot sit & go’s. These three-handed tournaments have a hyper-turbo blind structure and are played to a winner-takes-all format. The prize pool is randomly determined before the first hand is dealt.

POWERFEST SPINS only cost $5 to enter, yet can award tickets worth up to $1,050. The fact they are over in a matter of minutes makes SPINS perfect if you are short of time, such as during the scheduled breaks of your tournament session.

Eight Huge Championship Events

Rounding off the POWERFEST on Aug. 11 are eight huge Championship Events. These tournaments are thought of in the same way as a Main Event on a live poker tournament festival.

Four of the Championship Events are no-limit hold’em with buy-ins of $11 up to $2,100 and guaranteed prize pools ranging from $50,000 up to $750,000. The other four, for the first time ever on POWERFEST, are pot-limit Omaha tournaments. These also cost between $11 and $2,100 to enter and they feature guarantees starting at $10,000 and increasing to $250,000.

Winning a Championship Event not only yields a significant cash prize, but all Championship Champions also receive a custom trophy to commemorate the victory. Here's a look at the championship events so you can get planning for the big ones.
