Bad beats are part and parcel with playing poker. Seemingly super strong hands get beaten by unlikely hands all the time, even more so in pot-limit Omaha games where the action is intense, fast and furious.

Those of you playing Omaha cash games online at Natural8 won’t care too much about enduring a bad beat because Natural8 is giving away $2,000 every day until Feb. 28 to 20 players who are on the receiving end of a bad beat.

No extra money is taken from the pot or rake; you simply have to play Omaha cash games. Should you lose with a queen-high flush or better, you could find yourself on the Bad Beats of the Day leaderboard where the top 20 bad beats of the day recipients share $2,000 in cash.

Your position on the leaderboard is determined by a handful of factors. The first is your hand rank when you suffer the bad beat with stronger losing hands taking precedence. Secondly, the bigger the pot is when the bad beat occurs, the better your bad beat is ranked. Third and final, bad beats that happen earlier in the day take precedence over those later in the day.

PLO Bad Beat Leaderboard Rules

There are four rules you must adhere to if you want to be in with a chance of qualifying for the bad beat leaderboard. These rules are:

  • Your hand must be a queen-high flush or stronger
  • The hand must go to showdown and involve only two players at showdown
  • You can only run it once
  • Hands must be played at pot-limit Omaha cash tables
