partypoker to run the $1 Million Big Game on Dec. 30
Fresh off a hugely successful MILLIONS Online event, partypoker is gearing up to host The Big Game on Dec. 30, a $5,200 buy-in tournament with a $1 million guarantee despite being a freezeout event.
Shuffling up and dealing at 6:00 p.m. CET on Dec. 30, the $1 million guaranteed Big Game costs $5,200 to enter unless you manage to win your way into it via the many satellites running each day. There are five $109 buy-in Phase 1 satellites running every two hours between 4:00 p.m. CET and 12:00 a.m. CET.
Players can play in as many Phase 1s as they wish, however, they can only take their biggest stack through with them if they progress to the weekly final more than once. The Phase 1s last for 22 levels of five-minutes each. Anyone with chips remaining when the 22nd level finishes progresses to the next available weekly final.
It is possible to win your way into the $109 Phase 1 satellites via MTT Ticket tournaments running around the clock and starting with buy-ins from only $1.10.
The first Big Game ADDED Final takes place at 10:00 p.m. CET on Dec. 23 and the only way into it is by winning your way in via a Phase 1 satellite. partypoker is adding five $5,200 seats to the prize pool with further seats being awarded for every $5,200 in the prize pool, created from the Phase 1 entries.
