Earning Points for the $100K MTT Race
It is easy to earn points for the Bestpoker $100K MTT Race. Every tournament you play earns you points, so you will be rewarded for logging plenty of volume. Finish outside of the money places and you receive one tournament leaderboard point for each $1 used to buy into the tournament. For example, buy into a $55 tournament and bust before the money, you receive 55 points.
You earn more points, however, for navigating your way into the money places. Bestpoker uses the following formula to award leaderboard points to those players finishing in-the-money.
Buy-in amount * (total entrants / player’s place of finish)
Using this formula you shows if you finished in fifth-place in a $100 buy-in tournament that had 200 entrants, you would receive 4,000 tournament leaderboard points.
The August $100K MTT Race was won by the Canadian grinder known as “Resolve” who bagged T$10,000 after amassing 371,557 points during the month. Costa Rica’s “WheresTheCola” narrowly missed out on an epic victory, accumulating 337,971 points during August to bank T$7,500.
