partypoker Gears up for the $40 Million Guaranteed POWERFEST
partypoker is preparing for its biggest ever POWERFEST series, which runs online from May 6-20 and sees 366 events with combined guarantees of $40 million take place.
The 366 events are split into low, medium and high buy-in levels, much like partypoker’s previous POWERFEST, Monster Series and Power Series festivals and schedules. This series features a number of different formats including no-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo and Progressive KO tournaments, the latter allowing you to win big without the need to reach the money places.
Category | Events | Buy-in range | Total guarantees |
---|---|---|---|
Micro | 78 | $1.10 to $3.30 | $263,500 |
Low | 78 | $5.50 to $16.50 | $1,217,000 |
Medium | 78 | $27.50 to $55 | $4,190,000 |
High | 74 | $109 to $215 | $9,800,000 |
There are also 58 events that come under the High Roller and Super High Roller buy-in level. These have buy-ins of $530 to $25,500 and feature guaranteed prize pools in excess of $27 million.
Sundays are the biggest days on the POWERFEST schedule with more than $5.8 million guaranteed on each Sunday. The lineup for Sunday includes at least three so-called Championship Events, each with a guarantee of at least $1 million.
