Bounty Hunter Champion

Bounty tournaments are a popular tournament format in online poker circles as they give players the opportunity to make some money from the event without the need for them to reach the payout places.

Playing bounty tournaments at Sky Poker during January, where they are known as Bounty Hunter tournaments, could see you walk away with a share of £5,000 every week.

Until Jan. 29, Sky Poker is running a trio of leaderboards revolving around the action in three Bounty Hunter Champion tournaments with buy-ins of £5.50, £33 and £110. Play in one, two or all three of these nightly tournaments and each time you send an opponent to the rail, you’ll add a bounty to your leaderboard score. End the week as one of the players to claim the most bounties and you’ll win a cash prize of between £10 and £500.

Bounty Hunter Champion Mini8:30 p.m.£5.50£2,500

Week one of the leaderboards is complete, but there are still three more weeks of this value-packed promotion to get involved in.

  • Monday, Jan. 9 to Sunday, Jan. 15
  • Monday, Jan. 16 to Sunday, Jan. 22
  • Monday, Jan. 23 to Sunday, Jan. 29

The Mini Leaderboard pays out £2,000 each week to the top 30 bounty players, as does the Main Leaderboard, with the High Roller Leaderboard paying out £1,000 to the top 10 bounty players. This promotion should make the Bounty Hunter tournaments at Sky Poker even better value as players in them could be more focused on playing aggressively to claim bounties than they are concentrating on the actual tournament.

If you don’t already have a Sky Poker account, download the software via PokerNews and you will receive £10 worth of tournament tickets and a 200 percent bonus up to £500 when you make your first deposit at the site. After that, eliminate as many opponents as you can to climb up the respective leaderboards.
