PokerStars is returning to the Atlantis Resort in Nassau this January for the PokerStars Championship Bahamas and you could be jetting off to The Bahamas armed with a $10,000 poker package that only cost you $5.

More than 90 tournaments are scheduled over nine days in January 2017, including the PokerStars Championship Main Event, which runs from Jan. 8 to Jan. 14. To most people who are competing in the Main Event, the buy-in is $5,000 but to one lucky PokerNews reader the cost will be a mere $5.

At 6:35 p.m. GMT on Dec. 18, there is a PokerNews Bahamas Package tournament running at PokerStars that costs $5 to enter. A total of 11 places are paid, with sixth to 11th place banking a satellite ticket worth $82, second to fifth place winning a satellite ticket worth $530 and the eventual champion securing a $10,000 PokerStars Championship Bahamas Main Event package, which include the tournament buy-in and hotel accommodation at the luxurious Atlantis Resort.

A tournament with such amazing prizes would usually attract a field of thousands of players, but as this is a PokerNews-exclusive event, the number of entrants should be far less. If you downloaded PokerStars via PokerNews, made your first deposit during 2016 but before Dec. 16, and you have $5 in your PokerStars account, then you are all set to take advantage of this amazing opportunity. Players who opened their account during 2016 will be able to play for free, all other PokerNews players who opened their account prior to 2016, will need to use $5 to buy into the event.
