Congratulations to The Winners of The PokerNews Cup Packages At DuckPoker!
Our friends at DuckPoker have awarded four PokerNews Cup packages valued at $1,150 so far, with one more package still up for grabs on Sept. 14.
Each of the PokerNews Cup package winners will head to Vienna, Austria, to play in the sixth edition of the PokerNews' own live poker series from Oct. 9 to Oct. 12 in style. This is because not only does each package include a €250 buy-in seat to the €75,000 guaranteed Main Event, but also includes three nights' accommodation at the four-star Hotel Roomz in Vienna, along with $350 cash for travel expenses and spending money.
Winner of the August DuckPoker PokerNews Cup Rake Race
During the entire month of August, DuckPoker held a rake race exclusive to our players rewarding the top finisher an $1,150 PokerNews Cup package.
Congrats to Germany's Robert "lekmiamars" Stuerzer for crushing the competition and winning package to participate to the Cup thanks to the 4,518.50 DuckPoker player points he earned during the month of August.
Second place finisher "iamadoctor" put in a valiant effort by earning 3,675.12 player points. While "iamadoctor" came up short of winning a PokerNews Cup package, he still has one chance remaining to pack his bags to Austria for free in our one remaining freeroll.

Winners of the August DuckPoker PokerNews Cup Freerolls
Congrats to Slovenia's Klemen "Klemeen" Kramljak for his win on Aug. 7 in our first DuckPoker PokerNews Cup freeroll. If this name looks familiar to you, it is because he also found himself in fourth place on the rake race leaderboard.
Desko "Desislav" Pavlov made his home country of Bulgaria proud by winning the second DuckPoker PokerNews Cup freeroll on Aug. 21. This player did not crack the top 50 of the rake race leaderboard, but impressively showed his poker skills when it counted.
The third PokerNews Cup freeroll at DuckPoker was held yesterday. We expect the winner of this event to be announced soon, and he or she will enjoy the wonders of Vienna along with our other winners, "lekmiamars", "Klemeen", and "Desislav", for a chance of winning big bucks in the Main Event in October.
