The 2014 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) is just around the corner coming this September at PokerStars.

How do I get involved?
It isn't often that you will get a chance to become a protégé of one of these Team PokerStars Pros: Andre Akkari, Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, Eugene Katchalov and Vanessa Selbst.
Here is how you can get started to become one of the four lucky winners. Every day from July 20 to August 3 there will be four daily $5.50 tournaments.
Each tournament listed below will allow you not only to compete for the prize pool the buy-in generates, but also give you the unique opportunity to be mentored by the poker pro listed in the tournament.
- 13.00 ET – Eugene Protégé Qualifier
- 14.00 ET – ElkY Protégé Qualifier
- 17.00 ET – Vanessa Protégé Qualifier
- 18.00 ET – Andre Protégé Qualifier
If you finish in the top two of any of these tournaments, you will be asked to record a one-minute video. This video will be reviewed by the poker pro from the designated tournament you won.
The "mentor" will select his or her top two video selections, which then will go out to a public vote to see who not only gets the unique opportunity to be trained by this poker professional, but also receive a free tournament buy-in to three WCOOP tournaments including the 2014 WCOOP Main Event!
Wait, there's more!
The competition doesn't end here. Each of the four players that are selected as protégés, will battle it out to become the ultimate protégé and be awarded a luxurious grand prize of a 2015 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure package.
The player that cashes the most in the three free WCOOP events they were bought into will win this grand prize and head to the Bahamas in style this winter!
