Partypoker Weekly

Last week, partypoker completely revamped its software, giving it a sleeker look and feel while adding plenty of features aimed at attracting and engaging recreational players.

Achievements Rewards

One of the new partypoker features is the ability to collect achievements for completely predetermined tasks set by partypoker. These achievements are much like you would expect to see on a video game or one of the social media games on Facebook, which add an element of fun to the game.

For a limited time only, partypoker is giving away freeroll entries to players who collect specific achievements — one of the freerolls awards a whopping $30,000! The full list of freeroll-awarding achievements can be found in table below.

Kara Scott is Excited About the New Software

party Pro Kara Scott is one of the most recognizable poker players in the world, not only because of her excellent hostess skills on major televised poker productions but also because she is one hell of a player at the felt.

Scott wasn't always a great player, in fact she was pretty bad at poker despite loving the game, which is a situation many players find themselves in. In her recent blog, Scott reveals, "I was terrible. I found poker kind of frustrating but also incredibly compelling. The more I played, the more I wanted to get good at this game. I wanted to be able to ask more advanced questions but that takes a more advanced understanding. It took me a while, but I got there."

The new social aspect created by partypoker would have been ideal for Scott to learn with and it could be perfect for you. You can read Scott's full blog entry, here.
