Three Different Straights Flop in Same High-Stakes Poker Hand on Hustler Casino Live
A rare hand occurred during Friday night's Hustler Casino Live stream as three players flopped different straights in an $80,000 pot.
The improbable hand was just one of many crazy hands that occurred during the high-stakes no-limit hold'em cash game, which featured recent LA Poker Classic champion Mike Nia, along with other Hustler Casino Live regulars such as Dylan Flashner and "Luda Chris."
The Poker Hand You've Got to See
The hand in the $50/$100 ($100 big blind ante) game went six ways and zero preflop raises. None of the players held anything close to a premium, but the 5♦3♥4♠ flop created an all in moment. Five players had a piece of the flop.
Action on the flop checked to Ethan, who ambitiously bet $1,000 with K♦5♣ into the six-way pot. Jesse folded J♥8♥ before Jasper, a popular player on the show, decided to slowplay his 6♠2♠ straight by just calling. Flashner then made it $4,000 with a weaker straight — A♦2♣, which convinced Tomer to fold top pair with an open-ended straight draw.
William was next to act with his 7♦6♣ for the stone-cold nuts. He opted to just call, and Ethan was then finally done with his hand. But Jasper had other intentions. He wasn't going to slowplay his straight any longer, so he moved all in with the largest stack.
Flashner called for $19,450 total and William called for $29,300. Flashner would need runner-runner for a chop, while Jasper needed runner-runner for a flush to win the hand outright. But the 9♦ on the turn and K♠ on the river ended any possibility for a suckout. William took down the $79,750 pot.
A frustrated Flashner would quit the game down $100,000. Flopping three different straights in the same hand is rare, but it has happened before. In fact, as Hustler Casino Live owner Ryan Feldman pointed out, the exact same scenario played out on Live at the Bike in 2018, a hand won by NBA guard Seth Curry.
The pot on Live at the Bike, a show produced by Feldman at the time, only reached $16,000, a far cry from Friday night's hand on Hustler Casino Live.
